The Long Drive

I've been transferring pictures from my phone to my computer so I have a few to share. I took some pictures as we made our way across the country.

But first, before we left. Can't you tell, she can just sense that we are leaving.

This is Josh's family's dog, Maggie. And although in this picture she has no idea that we are leaving, she really did get upset. I got a text from Kendal the night after we left saying that Maggie pooped on her sweater because she was upset. Ha. 

Umm...North Carolina maybe? Did we pass through NC...I can't remember. 

It was so pretty though. 

Those are some big tires. 

They looked bigger in person.

Everyday during the turns we watched How I Met Your Mother. You would have thought we'd be sick of it. Nope, that's what we watched at the hotel. :)

And then.....KANSAS. The boringest state to drive through...ever.

At least the sky looked cool.

The beginning of Colorado. So much better than Kansas. 

TUNNEL. Woah. 

Then it just got so gorgeous. I love the drive through Colorado. Although, I have to admit, it was so windy that I got a little sick. 

And we're home :)

It was a long drive, and I am so grateful for a husband who is more than willing to do a large percentage of the driving! :)
