Piper 2 months

It's official. Piper is 2 months old today! For once, I actually feel like time is going slow! Is that possible? I feel like Piper has always been in our family so it's weird to think she's only 2 months old. 

She is such a sweetheart. She started smiling this month which has been totally adorable. We still have to work pretty hard to get them, but they are coming more and more. She is holding her head up much better and focusing on us much better as well. 

Since our apartment is only a 2 bedroom, Piper has been in a bassinet in our room, which makes me weak (when it comes to nursing in bed and co-sleeping). This has put a bit of a delay on sleep-training, but we started a couple nights ago finally, and it's going really well. She slept in her bassinet all night last night which was wonderful. I love sleeping with her but I just don't sleep as well because I'm so paranoid of squashing her! 

She is growing like a weed. She is starting to chunk out and she seems long to me. Her 2 month appointment is this Monday, so I will know more then. 

We adore her.

Kate's Zoo Birthday

Kate turned two in the beginning of November, but Morgan and Jenn planned a zoo trip for her birthday once all the family left and everything calmed down with selling their home. It was a chilly morning, but the zoo was empty and we had an absolute blast! So glad they invited us to tag along! 

Jane was so excited to see Elliott when we got there she ran and they hugged and fell down. So cute. Haha.

After the zoo, Josh and I ran to the mall to look at a couple things. Then Josh finished up some work stuff before we headed to Morgan and Jenn's for cupcakes! Yum. They were so cute and delicious. Then we played games. Typical. :)
