insomniac

It's 2:04am right now and I'm not the least bit tired. Danna has been asleep for like 3 hours. I woke up at 7:30am this morning to take Danna to school and I've been up since then. I made cookies today, worked for 5 hours, played basketball for an hour, and watched a decent amount of Gilmore Girls and Arrested Development.

Why am I still awake?

I'm currently reading 2 books and neither of them are able to put me to sleep. I just put down The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible, and I'm almost done with Miracle of Forgiveness (which surprisingly, I have never read before). I need to find a really good, but really boring book that I can read at night to put me to bed.

Celebration

Happy One Month Anniversary!

Josh and I have been married for one whole month! :) I know it doesn't seem like much to those of you going on 5, 10, or 15 years but it's a long time for us! We're excited to finally tell people we've been married a month, instead of something like oh 3 weeks and 4 days. It just seems to flow better.

But in celebration of this great day I wanted to share a few of my favorite things about Josh!

Josh has been there for me since day 1.



He puts up with my goofyness and even joins in sometimes.



He puts up with the fact that I stink at sports! :)



He plays guitar and sings to me.



He's willing to...ruin a pair of clothes with me. :)

We went grocery shopping the Monday after we got here and picked out some basics along with the makings for tacos. The perfect first meal! Josh is a great cook :)

Okay, the apartment is finally done. We have been painting now for over a week, but it was well worth it. We are so happy to have it done finally. I must admit, Josh did most of the work while I was at school everyday but I pitched in here and there when I could. I'm so proud of him and all his hard work!!
