Mother's Day '16

Mother's Day this year was wonderful.

During church, the Bishopric's wives organized a brunch so we could eat and chat during the third hour. It was beautiful outside and such a great day.

We were on Whole30, so that affected our meals quite a bit, but Josh managed to still make it so delicious and such a great day! He also surprised me a couple days early with a Cricut! I was so surprised! So thoughtful and sweet!

Banana ice cream for my Whole30 belly!
Such a surprise!!!
i love it!
Me and my girls!

Pictures from the brunch.

Wish I could have eaten one of those bad boys!

So nice!
Our yummy dinner! Steak with kale and almond salsa, roasted asparagus and brussel sprouts and mashed sweet potatoes.

Waterfall Junction

The Riverbanks Zoo just finished this awesome new addition in the Botanical Garden called Waterfall Junction. It's 15 acres of water and other fun things to do. It has a huge splash pad with a waterfall wall and water that sprays out of the walls, a waterfall that runs down some stairs and down a slope that you can play in, a pool with large rocks that you can climb on and jump from, a dino digging area, fields with different attractions and toys, some slides, a giant, 2 story tree house and little tunnels and holes all over the place to run through and play in. It's really, really cool, and the girls love it. We went for the first time a couple weeks ago. We had plans to meet friends there but they were sick so we went alone. We've gone back twice since with friends and it's been so much fun!

Here are some pictures from our second visit with friends!

EdVenture and Snow Cones

For Memorial day, Josh took the day off from working for his parents and we took the kids to EdVenture. It's the children's museum here. Neither of us had ever been and it was awesome! We had a couple guest passes which made it even better! Can't beat free.

The girls had such a blast running around trying all kinds of fun stuff.

Tired girls in the car.

Later that day I took the girls to get snow cones at Pelican's! They were so yummy. I got coconut passionfruit and it might have been the most delicious combination ever.

Jane turns F I V E

Last week we went up to Greenville for sweet Jane's FIFTH birthday! Can't believe she is five years old! It was such a great couple of days.

We headed up on Thursday, spent a couple hours with my dad and his wife (ate curry and grabbed ice cream), then headed to Morgan and Jenn's to put the kids to bed and play some games! We played Suburbia! Seriously one of my favorites.

On Friday morning, I helped get the party set up and guests started arriving. Jenn is such a fun mom. The party was a blast. They had lots of games! There was one where they had a cup tied to their head that was filled with popcorn and they had to walk over to another cup on the ground and dump the popcorn into the, slightly larger, cup. It was hilarious. Then they had sack races. And then they had a pinata! So much fun.

Jenn also served lunch. Yummy hotdogs, fruit salad and veggie straws!

Jane got lots of fun gifts (we got her books [you trained me right, mom!]) and then we enjoyed ice cream sundaes!! What I wouldn't do for one right now (still on Whole30 over here). Haha!

It was such a great party!

Hahahaha! Good effort Kate!

Elliott figured out how to cheat pretty early one. Figures! That girl is too smart for her own good.

Jane just munching on popcorn as she goes. Also notice Piper. She was sneaking popcorn left and right!

Ice cream sundaes!

Sack races!

The kiddos with their horns! All but Piper, she refused to be in the picture!

Jane was awesome at hitting the pinata!

Yum!!

After the party on Friday, we helped clean up then we decided to go downtown to do the Mice on Main street. We'd done it once before. I just love downtown Greenville. It's so beautiful. We walked all around, went in the general store then stopped for pizza for dinner. After that, Josh and I headed out (we had to hit up Costco on the way back to Columbia). But we had a fabulous couple of days. We always do with those crazy Titus'.

Piggies and Sprinklers

One day a couple weeks ago, the weather was HOT! So we decided to pull out the sprinkler, put on bathing suits and get wet! The girls loved it! It was a fun afternoon. Also, Piper had crazy pigtails that day that just made me giggle every time I looked at her. Hence all the pictures...
