24 Weeks!

Things are continuing to go very well with the pregnancy. I am 24 and a half weeks today. I had an appointment today and everything is going perfectly. They started measuring my belly today. 24 weeks and 24 centimeters. Next appointment is the all-dreaded glucose test. Yuck. My nurse today was really cool and let me come look over her shoulder as she entered in my stats for the day. Then she showed me my stats from all my appointments over time. I've gained about 12 pounds since my first appt. My blood pressure has always been good, no problems at the ultrasound and all my blood work came back great too. :) I couldn't be happier with how things are going.

My doctor today talked about how amazing this stage of pregnancy is because if for some reason our little girl needed to be delivered, she could live. It wouldn't be good and it would be very high risk, but she could live. And he talked about how each day her chances get better and better. He was really sweet.

Josh snapped a couple pictures of me last night. My belly feels so big but everyone keeps telling me how little I am. And the doctor made a comment about my height and hiding the baby really well. Haha. I suppose I look small to other people...but my belly feels huge to me! I've never had a belly before! But I love it. Everything about it. Our little girl loves to move all the time now. I haven't gone more than an hour without feeling her. She is a busy girl. Josh feels her all the time too. Sometimes her kicks and rolls make me laugh out loud because they feel so funny. But I just love it.

Here are some new pictures of the ever growing belly!

[24 weeks]

I feel ultimately blessed right now. We both do.
