Ellie the Elephant

Before Elliott was even born we were shopping at Costco and found an adorable elephant costume. We decided to go ahead and get it. It was 3-6 months, so we figured it would be huge on her since she would only be 2 months on Halloween. Well, it's not huge! It's absolutely perfect and totally adorable.

On Saturday night we carved pumpkins as our little family. It was so fun. Elliott was pretty good for most of it. I held her in the carrier until she got fussy so I put her in her bouncer and she fell asleep. Ha. Josh and I weren't feeling particularly creative this year so Josh did a pumpkin with a huge smile and I did a pumpkin with a tiny smile. Elliott's pumpkin has crossed eyes and a binky.

I call them: Huge smile, tiny smile, binky smile.

It was fun doing something fun like that as our little family. Don't get me wrong, doing things just the two of us was a blast, but there is something about having kids that makes me so excited for family traditions and holidays.

On Sunday after church we decided to take Elliott outside and try to get some cute pictures of her in her costume and with her pumpkin. She lasted about 5 minutes before she got mad, so we didn't get a ton, but I think they turned out cute! She makes an adorable little elephant.
