Sweet Girl

This week has been pretty low key. We had possibly the laziest weekend we've ever had. We barely left the house once and we slept in really late everyday. It was pretty nice. Obviously we wouldn't do that every weekend, but once in a while, it's ok to be lazy, right? The time we did leave the house was to go on a family walk on Sunday. This was our first walk with all three of us. It was wonderful. We live just a few blocks from a fabulous park with great long walking trails and a little stream running through it. It's so peaceful. We love it.

This week has been full of family so far. My brother Joe is in town for a couple of days, staying at our house. He's in town to do a bunch of stuff. We've had a few hours together to just talk and hang out between his busy schedule running back and forth to campus. Yesterday Josh's Uncle Adam's wife was in town visiting (from China) and of course she wanted to see the babies (both Elliott and Jane). So we got together over at Jenn's house, had delicious homemade pizza and hung out for a few hours. Then today Josh's Uncle Blaze and Aunt Adie were in town with all their kids because they were taking their daughter to the MTC. Unfortunately Morgan had class and Josh had to work so they weren't there but Jenn and I got to have lunch with all of them at Zupa's. Yum. I love Zupa's. It was great seeing them. I just love the Titus family!

Other than that we're just still figuring out how to be parents. Elliott is still co-sleeping with us. We had plans to transition her to her crib this week but with Joe being here (and sleeping in her room) we put it off some more. Co-sleeping has been nice because she really does sleep a lot better but Josh and I have both found that we don't sleep as well because she is so noisy in her sleep. And she'll wake up and fuss a little, go back to sleep, wake up, etc. So, we're both pretty tired. I think it will be a lot nicer once she's in her own room. Although I love those early morning cuddles!

Well, that's about it. Nothing too exciting. But I will post some more pictures. I really need to take more pictures with my camera. I take them all with my phone and it just doesn't do the job well enough (although Josh and I ordered iPhone 5's which will definitely take better pictures!). And I post all these pictures on Instagram/Facebook so you might have already seen them all...oh well! She's still adorable and fun to look at. At least, I think so.
