Easter

We spent Easter with Morgan, Jenn and Kendal this year. It was a lot of fun. The festivities started on Saturday night with egg dying. We had two different kits which together produced 10 crazy different colors. Some of the colors never really dissolved and so the eggs came out speckled. But it just added to the night.

We lost a few of the eggs to boiling. Here is one that we thought was particularly funny. Does it look like a monster man to you?

Before we started (I'm not sure why Morgan is frowning...)

 Let the festivities begin.
 Two of my favorite eggs.
We also blew some eggs. It's harder than it seems it would be. We were all about to pass out.

Morgan blew this egg out, couldn't decide how to decorate it, offered the job to Kendal, threw the egg at Kendal (it dropped on the floor and cracked) so Kendal decided to push on the crack and ended up with an egg on her thumb.
On Sunday morning the Easter bunny visited our house. He knew all our favorites ;)
I got Bobs Olde Timey pure sugar twists, Mega buttons, blackberries and raspberries by Jelly Belly, and ZOTZ! Josh got a chocolate bunny, peppermint and orange sticks, reeces pieces, gummy bunnies and pecan pralines (his favorite).

Kendal came to church with us on Sunday. After church Josh took a final (lame) and I worked on getting my part of dinner ready. We were in charge of potatoes and a veggie. I made mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. I was unaware that nobody likes asparagus, but that just meant more for Josh and I. We ate dinner over at Morgan and Jenn's house. Jenn made a great ham with a super tasty glaze! The whole dinner was fantastic. After dinner Morgan went out front and hid all of our eggs that we had dyed the day before. Then me, Josh, Kendal and Jenn ran around like little children on an Easter egg hunt. It was really fun. It was a three way tie between me, Josh and Jenn. We all found 9. I didn't take any pictures of the hunt, but Morgan did, so when I get those pictures I will post them. After the egg hunt we watched Tangled. It was very cute.

We also watched Benny and his mad jumping skills. Morgan puts his ball way up in the tree and he can actually jump up really high and reach it! It was amazing. He looks like a flying dog in these pictures. Josh posted a video on fb if you want to see him in action.

It was a great Easter.

Cool effect on my new camera.

Happy Easter! Hope everyone had a fabulous day!
