Busy April

Josh and I have been insanely busy this month (hence the lack of blog posts in almost 2 weeks). As expected we were busy with finals. I finished my finals on Monday of this week. Thank goodness. I got them over with as quick as I could. Josh is still trying to get through his. He has finished two of his classes but still has quite a few finals to take. He had a particularly large assignment due on Tuesday night at midnight. It was a weather project that entailed tracking dozens of different things about the weather (according to flying) for 5 days. Not just that, but answering 39 questions each day for all of those 5 days. Josh realized quick that it was going to be an intensive assignment and started saving the maps that he needed to answer the questions so that he could refer back to them and do the project on his own time. The maps looked a little something like this...

I actually got to learn how to read these too (since it was getting down to crunch time and he wasn't finished). It ended up being 17,000 words and over 50 pages. Ridiculous. He better get a good grade.

Anyways, other than school Josh is still working full time and I start work back up tomorrow. I love working at the same place as Josh :) We're working the same shift tomorrow. Then it's just a week and a couple days until the cruise! I seriously can't wait. We need a break so very badly.

**On a happy side note, BYU offered me a half scholarship for fall semester! It's my last semester at BYU and I got a scholarship! I am so excited about that. It's especially exciting since my full-ride scholarship from my dad's work ended at the end of my fourth year (this semester). Fall will be the first semester I'll actually have to pay for. Not too shabby! Unfortunately when I got married I inherited a bunch of school loans...from a certain someone...otherwise I would be debt free! Ha. A girl can wish**

I said my final farewells to BYU this week. In the fall I won't be seeing BYU. I will be student teaching in my school Monday-Friday full-time. I can't wait!! I can't say it was that hard to say goodbye to BYU when I was so stressed with finals. Although, I must say that BYU is such a wonderful school and I couldn't be happier with all the things I gained from being a student there. I will miss it. It really is a great school.
