Leaving Utah was one of the hardest things I've ever done. It was one thing saying goodbye to Provo, but it was another saying goodbye to our best friends. Our last night was supposed to be at Jacob and Valerie's house. We came over early for dinner, let the kids play and say their goodbyes. Then we put the kids to bed and talked and took pictures. But as we started talking, we realized that we had the next night too and we had enough packed that we could jam in one more hangout before we left. So we planned a time and place (for just the adults) and we made it happen.
We met up in Salt Lake at Red Rock for dinner. It was so delicious and it made me angry that we didn't discover it sooner than our last night in Utah! But it was amazing. After we ate, we headed outside and Jacob had brought his friend's eRover to play with. You've probably seen them. They look like Segways but they don't have handles. It's just the foot part. It looks impossible, but once you get the hang of it, it's really not too hard. So we played around on that for probably an hour! It was a lot of fun and very memorable. Jacob was terrible and would wiggle every time he got on. Valerie picked it up pretty quick and would spin around really fast. Perry refused. Kelly was nervous and slow, but adorable as always. Josh was hilarious. He road around so fast and at one point disappeared behind some cars and came back pushing a little kid shopping cart. We were all laughing so hard! It was such a great night. Of course it ended in so many tears. Goodbyes are so hard. But we knew we would see them all again. I love our friends so much. We have built such amazing friendships with them over the years. I can't imagine my life without a single one of them.
So here's to "see you laters!"

| I'm so thankful for Jack and Elliott's friendship. We miss him so much! |

| Someone must have said a gross joke or something. The boys are unphased and the girls are all making the same face! |
 |
| Love them all. |
