Josh's twin sisters, Hannah and Chandler, came for a short visit last weekend. It was a blast. We jammed a lot of fun things into one short weekend!
They rolled in Friday night so Matt and Kendal came over with them and we barbecued up some burgers! We played with Elliott and then after she went to bed, we celebrated the girls' birthday a little early with some cake that Kendal made. She is such a sweet sister.
On Saturday morning the girls so graciously babysat for us and Jacob and Valerie so we could go to Seven Peaks (just the four of us). We had a blast. Of course, I didn't take pictures but I'll just say, I went on the scariest slide. It was terrifying. But I did it.
After we got back the girls went to lunch with a friend and I took a nap. That afternoon we went to the Riverwoods for this fun carnival thing they had going on. They had a magician, a clown, free face painting, games, bouncy houses, and all the shops were having sales! It was fun. We walked around, watched the hilarious magician for a while and then got the babies faces painted. Well, Kendal, Hannah and Chandler got theirs done too.
After the carnival we went to Cubby's for dinner. We love Cubby's. It's a newer restaurant in Provo that has Chicago beef. It's so yummy. After dinner we all hung out at our house and played some rounds of Oh Heck! Best game.
Sunday morning the girls came to church with us and hung out after church. We went to the temple and took some pictures and then dropped the girls off at Kendal and Matt's. The girls took the Frontrunner down to Provo, but since it doesn't run on Sunday, I drove the girls up to SLC and dropped them off at Temple Square where their ride board person picked them up. It was a fun ride. I love those girls!
Overall, we had a great weekend!
