10 Months!

Elliott is 10 months old! I seriously cannot believe it. Wasn't it just yesterday I held her for the first time in my arms? 

This month Elliott...

• learned to crawl! That's a big one. She has always hated tummy time and always refused to try to crawl. When we put her on her belly, she would cry until she rolled over. She has just never showed any interest in crawling. Until this month! And now she is all over the place. But we love it.
• added to her vocabulary, "yah"and "doy" (weird, I know).
• cut her first two teeth! Right on the bottom. They are so cute. And so sharp. 
• learned how to go from her back to sitting. This came right before crawling and she loves it. She will crawl a little, sit up, look around, crawl some more, sit up, crawl some more...
• learned to clap. Her little claps are so stinking cute. 
• is continually getting better at standing on her own. She clocked in at 15 seconds which included one step between all that and rebalancing herself. 
• has mastered pulling herself up on anything. The fridge, the wall, me, the chairs, etc. Like I said, she is all over the place. 

Elliott had a doctors appointment this week. She clocked in at...

20 lbs 5 oz - 75th percentile

28.5 inches long - 75th percentile

and her head is 40th percentile - a cute, small little round head

Everyday Josh and I talk about how thankful we are for this sweet girl and how blessed we are to have gotten  the cutest, most wonderful baby in the world. Seriously, how did we get so lucky? We love you Elliott! Happy 10 months! 

Then she got mad, and things got crazy. 

 All she does in the tub these days is stand up. It stresses me out.

 She loves drinking from a straw.

 She loves the tub.

 Just making messes.
