Myrtle Beach

Two years ago we spent our New Years at Myrtle Beach with Josh's family. This year was a bit of a reenactment of that trip, but without all the extended family. It was just the 9 of us. Bronson, Laurie, me, Josh, Morgan, Jenn, Kendal, Hannah and Chandler. It was wonderful. 


We got there on Monday afternoon. We spent the day playing games, and eating so much food. I ate more on that trip than...ever. It was awesome/disgusting. On Tuesday we went to the outlet mall. Josh and I bought lots of new clothes (something we had been planning). It was very exciting. We don't have a great outlet mall anywhere close around here, so we went a little crazy! We love to shop. We also went to Broadway at the Beach (not a show). It's a little outdoor mall/shopping center. It has a bunch of cute little stores with fun things. Really descriptive, I know. Anyways, while we were there we saw Harry Potter in the IMAX. It was my first IMAX movie. It was so huge. So, so huge. On Wednesday I hit the beach. It was the first day that I was feeling up to going down there. I had been feeling sick the 2 days before and it was pretty windy and cold. But I finally got down there. It was beautiful. It was probably 45 or 50 degrees but the sun was shining and the sand was warm. 

I spent about an hour down on the beach and then Kendal and the twins hunted me down (I went down there by myself in the morning). Kendal and I watched the twins chase seagulls and take lots of jumping pictures. Those girls are so funny.

We got back from the beach on Thursday and spent Friday at Josh's grandma's house. We got awesome gifts/money, ate amazing food, played scum and shot a potato cannon. 

We left Columbia on Saturday to come back to Provo. I miss everyone already, but it's nice to sleep in my own bed again :)
