Valerie's Cabin

My birthday fell on a Thursday and on Friday we headed down south to Valerie's cabin. (near mt. pleasant, ut) 

It's one of our favorite places to go. It's so beautiful down there, especially this time of year. 

We spent Friday and Saturday night at the cabin. On Friday Valerie's brother, his wife and their little girl came too. Friday night we made pizza, played Settlers of Catan, played Wii, played bananagrams and rode the 4-wheelers. 

On Saturday we found a place that we could go shooting. Josh brought his shotgun and Valerie's brother Elliott brought his 9mm (handgun). We shot soda cans and clay pigeons for over an hour. It was a lot of fun. (I don't have the pictures from shooting, I will post them later)

After shooting Elliott and his wife headed home and we headed back to the cabin. We went out riding on the 4-wheelers to this place.

This little area near the cabin has a whole bunch of 4-wheeling trails and jumps. Of course, I don't go fast enough off the jumps to actually "jump" but that doesn't mean Josh doesn't.

Yep, he's a crazy guy. We had so much fun on the 4-wheelers. We rode them for hours and hours on Saturday and then again on Sunday before we left. We also took a late-night ride on Saturday night and found an old swing in the middle of nowhere. It was so beautiful and there wasn't a cloud in the sky so we could see almost every star and even the milky way. 

On Saturday night we went into Mt. Pleasant and went to dinner at Roger's. It's a little diner place with yummy food. We went there last time we went too. 

Pretty much every picture I have from the weekend is of the 4-wheelers (we did that a lot). 

Valerie took pictures at dinner, at the cabin and shooting so when I get those I'll post a bunch more. They are pretty hilarious. (Look forward to pictures of all of us with a horse mask on)

I know it looks like I'm going really slow, well, I am. It's because I accidentally went off that jump really fast and got scared just before this.

This last video is the hill leading down to the really pretty trail with all the pink trees. The trail was so steep and had these big ridges. It was super scary so I had to video tape it. 

So fun, right?
