He took a quick shower and got ready for school. I took him to school at 10:30 (notice that's about 15 minutes he had to eat, open a present and shower). Then I headed to school to meet with a girl for a project. I had class from 12-2. After class I had to go to the TEC-Lab and do a quick project for another class then I headed home to change for work and stuff some food in me. Josh was done with school at 3 so I left here at about 2:40 to go pick him up. I had work at 3 so I picked him up in my work clothes and we went straight to Kneaders and he dropped me off.
I worked from 3 until 8. I told Josh he had to do something fun but a couple things came up that he had to take care of. He ran to Morgan and Jenn's new house to do a final walk through with the real estate lady which took about 2 hours, and he had some errands to run. He said he did play video games for about 30 minutes, but that's it. I got off work at 8 and we came home. I was so exhausted and so instead of making anything for dinner we ran and got Wendy's. We came home and ate which we watched an episode of Arrested Development. I worked on some last minute homework that was due while we watched and started noticing my eyes doing that funny blur thing they do when I'm getting a migraine. I had a bad headache from work already but it started getting worse. We searched frantically for the excedrin migraine which was no where to be found so my lovely, wonderful Josh ran to the store to get some. I took that with a can of Dr. Pepper and insisted that it was time to open presents.
He started with some of the smaller ones (a case of Dr. Pepper, a bag of beef jerky [he insisted on not getting candy this year], and a big bottle of Naked). Those were from you mom :) Next was a pack of socks and a new tie. He also got a pack of fun thought provoking cards by Chuck Klosterman (one of his favorite authors), and a book of top 10 lists done by the A.V. Club. And his last and biggest gift (in money, not size) was his watch!

So you could say his birthday wasn't all that great. But we have fun plans for the weekend. Morgan and Jenn arrived in town today, Kendal (Josh's sister) arrives on Saturday and so we are planning a fun birthday dinner and that's when I'll make the cake! :)
And for those of you who can't handle the sappy stuff....you may want to tune out now.
I have the most wonderful husband in the world. I couldn't have asked for a better fit for me. He is always there for me, he's my best friend. I confide in him and trust him with all my heart. He knows exactly what I need and he is such a good friend. That's one thing that has always struck me about Josh, is what a good friend he is. He really cares for the people around him and luckily I am one of those people. I am so thankful for you Josh, you are more than I ever imagined I could have in a husband. Happy birthday sweetheart! I love you.

Very sweet. Happy Birthday Josh!
