Long Weekend

What a wonderful weekend.

It started on Thursday with Alyson arriving and me, Alyson and Alex hearing Stephanie Nielson (see previous post).

On Friday Joe (my brother) arrived for a conference at BYU where he was presenting a paper. 

On Friday night we hung out at Desiree and Justin's house where Desiree made delicious homemade lasagna and garlic toast.

Saturday was conference. 

It was so uplifting. I love conference. I always feel so blessed and happy afterwards.

Saturday night we watched Ace Ventura Pet Detective. What a silly movie. 

It brought back a lot of youthful memories of watching it with my brothers.

Sunday was more conference!

Alyson left on Sunday night.

Joe's conference was Monday morning. I attended 4 of the papers and then had to sneak out to go to class. Joe's paper was fantastic!

Then Joe left on Tuesday morning.

It was a long, wonderful weekend full of uplifting words from the Lord's appointed, time with friends and family! We are so grateful :)
