Repost from our Spencer family blog:
I'm sitting on my beautiful couch right now and thought I would do a quick update of our life in North Carolina so far. I love being a stay-at-home...wife. I have the summer off of school and work and it's so great! There are so many reasons why I love it!
1. My house has never been cleaner!
2. I have never cooked so much in my life. I have made dinner every night but one since we've been here. I will post some pictures of what I've made so far...
3. I am so excited to see Josh everyday when he gets home. Being apart all day makes me appreciate him more.
4. I have time to do all my hobbies. Since I've been here I have sewn a couch cover, made cards, picked strawberries and worked on my quilt. I am looking forward to finishing my quilt, catching up on scrapbooking (once I get a table) and making cards for my new ward's card swap! :) My ward in Provo didn't have a card swap, but they do here! I have already joined!
5. I get me time. While I miss Josh a bunch. When we were in Provo I was either home with Josh, at work or at school. I have time to do things I enjoy, watch shows I love and hang out with the other wives that are here! While it may be a little more "me-time" than I want, I'm still enjoying it.
Totally enjoy it! Hopefully, we'll be seeing you soon!
