We survived vacation! And by survived, I mean, we loved and soaked in every single second. Let me just say, I am not too excited to be home. I definitely have the post-vacation blues. Bleck. It doesn't help that we left 80 degree weather for 30 degrees and snow. Yes. Snow. Barf.
So, here we go. Our trip started with a red-eye flight to Atlanta. We headed out about 9pm Utah time and got into GA at 3am (Utah time). Piper slept through the first flight. It was just an hour (to Denver). Elliott didn't sleep, but she was great. Then we had a couple hours in Denver before our next flight. Both girls stayed awake through the layover, which made the next flight even easier. Both girls conked right out on the second leg and slept from then on.

| Time for sleep!! |
We had an hour drive to Josh's friend Tommy's house after landing. They both slept the whole time. When we got to Tommy and Megan's, they so graciously let us go straight to sleep. We all piled in one giant bed, and slept another 4 hours. Glorious! I was seriously dreading the red eye, but it was easier than the way back, which wasn't a red-eye! Maybe it was a fluke, but the girls did great. We spent the rest of that afternoon with Tommy and Megan and their three sweet boys. We ate lunch, played outside and Josh and Tommy even went to the local shooting range for a bit. It was so sweet of them to have us for just half a day! And let us sleep there. We really needed it. Then it was off to Morgan and Jenn's.
Morgan and Jenn recently moved to SC from Utah. We miss them like CRAZY. It was so fun seeing their new house and catching up with them. Their house is beautiful! We are so happy for them. We spent the next couple days hanging out with them in their city. It was a rainy day after we arrived so we went to a local park and let the kids play and then went to Moe's for lunch. Low key and perfect! Each night we played Cosmic Encounter, our favorite game to play with those two.

The next day we went to downtown Greenville and did a little activity called Mice on Main. On their Main Street they have these little mice statues and clues to find them. Adorable. The girls loved it. It led us down Main to the big park. Such a beautiful day.

On Friday, after lunch, we headed to Columbia to go through the temple with Chandler for her first time. We had such a great time at Morgan and Jenn's. I wish we could have spent more time at their place. But there was just so much going on! Next time. :)
