On Sunday morning, Hannah and Curtis came to the house to open their gifts and say goodbye, before they headed off on their honeymoon. Then we had a quick lunch before church. We just went to sacrament and then came home and spent some time with Josh's parents before we had to leave. We headed out that evening to go back to Morgan and Jenn's for just one more evening. We played one last round of Cosmic Encounter before hitting the sack. We had to leave their house around 4:30am, so we had to go to bed early. Boo.
So we hit the road early, early. Josh drove, so I could sleep. And the girls stayed asleep the whole drive too, which was perfect. We got to the Atlanta airport, literally, just in time. We got stuck in Atalanta traffic, so we were running super late. Josh dropped me off with both girls and all our bags to get checked in while he returned the rental car. When I got to the check-in counter the lady said I made it one minute before the cutoff. I didn't think too much about it until she wouldn't let the two men right behind me in line not check in. Even though they were in line when I got there, I was "the last" person to be able to check-in. So then Josh returned the car and met us at security. When we got up to the gate I realized I lost my license. Sometime between checking in and getting to security, it fell out of my pocket. Ahh. Another thing. Luckily they took a combination of everything I had. Debit card, credit card, Costco card and Provo Rec Center card. Haha. Ridiculous. Thank goodness it worked. We did not have time to go back and look for it. Then we rushed to the train, and literally ran to our gate. When we got there the door was already shut and no one was around. We banged on the door and finally got someone to scan our tickets and let us on the plane. Oh man. What an ordeal. It was so stressful. Thank goodness we made it. I would have been so ticked if we missed the flight. Our day was pretty uneventful, thank goodness. The girls did really well. We made it back to SLC around 4:30pm. And now we are just trying to get back into the swing of reality again. Take me back, please?
