Thanksgiving day was wonderful. The night before, I stayed up super late finishing the stuffing and, of course, that was the one night Elliott woke up during the night and super early in the morning. I got 4 hours of sleep that night. Rough. But it was okay. At 9am we went down to the middle of town and ran in the Midway Turkey Trot. It was a lot of fun. Josh and Morgan were the only ones who actually ran the whole thing. I ran the first half or so then Elliott started crying and I had to slow down. I stopped for a few minutes to rearrange and had to keep stopping to try and console her. In her defense, it was freezing cold! With all my stopping Kendal and Hannah caught up to me and then towards the end, the rest of the family did too. By this point Josh was starting to walk back and met up with us, which helped a lot with Elliott. My time was terrible, but I was proud of myself for trying. :) Josh did great and averaged about a 7 minute mile.
After the turkey trot we headed back to the cabin to start preparing all the food for dinner. And we had a surprise visit as well! Josh's uncle David and his family surprised us and showed up. They stayed and played games and hung out until before dinner.
It was seriously an amazing Thanksgiving dinner. I made my family's stuffing recipe and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Laurie's recipe is pretty similar with just a few differences and while she was hesitant about mine, she said she really liked it, maybe even more! :) Success. There was turkey (of course), potatoes, homemade cranberry sauce, creamed corn, green bean casserole, stuffing, frog eye salad, rolls, and more. We each had a little card to write what we were thankful for and then went around and talked about what we wrote while we ate. It was awesome. I am thankful for so much. Especially my amazingly supportive husband and my sweet girl. They complete my life.

Basting the turkey
As beautiful as a table gets with paper plates and cups! :)
After dinner we had our choice of seven amazing pies from Kneaders. Yum. I love me some Kneaders pie.
We also had a big game of football after dinner. Football is a must on Thanksgiving! I sat out the first half and talked to my mom and then joined in towards the end. It was hilarious and a lot of fun.
It looks like Hannah is playing football by herself but she was running a touchdown!
Jane and Natalie playing.
Josh fell in a giant pit of mud!
Elliott loved picking dandelions with great grandma.
We also took a couple baths in the giant jetted tub. It was amazing and basically a pool for Elliott.
Just some classic Titus scum.
Matching jammies everywhere!
That night we spent playing games and just hanging out all together because Josh's parents had to leave Friday morning. They tried to find a last minute flight change for cheap, but it was just too expensive. We definitely missed them after they left!
Friday was spent eating tons of leftovers, playing games with David's family (who came back to hang out) and shopping. Josh and I can't resist good Black Friday deals. We drove with Hannah and Chandler to the outlet malls in Park City. I swear every store was half off. It was awesome and I was proud of us because we really stuck to our list and didn't over shop. I got a few things from Old Navy for Elliott, I spent my Christmas money on a couple small things for me and then Josh picked out his two Christmas gifts. He got a watch and a new leather briefcase from Fossil. Amazing sales going on there.
A friendly round of Mafia.
We also played Sardines twice while were there. What a great house for Sardines!!
Saturday we all went and saw Catching Fire. What a great movie. I love getting out and seeing movies. It does not happen very often. Saturday afternoon I packed all our things up and then we enjoyed the rest of our evening and hit the road back to Provo Sunday morning.
Stopped for some Starbucks after the movie.
The Titus Thanksmas was seriously so amazing. Huge shout out to Laurie and Bronson for making it all possible. I love my in-laws. I think I got pretty lucky in that department. Now, I have Christmas to look forward to and seeing my mom!
Saying goodbye to the cabin!
And the amazing view of Mt. Timp on the drive back.
