Sick children are the worst. For so, so many reasons. It isn't the child, it's the combination of being a baby and being sick that just makes for really long, tiring days. Elliott had a cold a couple weeks ago. Luckily it didn't last long and it never got terrible. I actually feel like we got off pretty lucky. I'm hoping she doesn't get too many colds this season.

[And letting mommy do her hair]
[Lots of tears]
[And lots of snot]
[On Sunday we did manage to get out of the house. We missed church because she was so sick but we decided some fresh air must be had and hit up the park in the afternoon with Jacob, Val and Jack]
[Elliott and I also got the chance to babysit Jack that week. They are so darling together]
