Today was another great day. Sometime between yesterday and today, our baby monitor charger broke. I left it on during the night but it died during the night. So I woke up around 9:30 to Bronson getting ready to leave and pass Elliott on to us. They had been up for a while. So sweet. Elliott and I hung out for a while on the back porch playing before she was ready for her nap. Everyone was either asleep or gone when she went back to sleep so I went and curled back in bed with Josh. Why not? It's vacation, right? It was wonderful. I slept until 11:30! Then we got up, got ready and helped clean the house and get things ready for visitors. I ran a couple errands (found some great deals on clothes for Elliott at Target), and came back just before everyone arrived. Laurie's mom, dad and dad's wife Gwen were here. Bronson's mom, and two sisters were also here. We ate delicious food (grilled hot dogs, potato salad, beans and corn on the cob) and had a little birthday celebration. It was a late birthday for Elliott, an early birthday for Bronson and a farewell to Hannah and Chandler leaving for college tomorrow. It was great. We ate cake and then opened gifts. As always, Elliott was spoiled. She is just too loved. She got a bunch of new clothes, toys, bath toys and even a new baby doll. So fun! After presents everyone left, Elliott went to bed and we all settled down to watch the new Star Trek movie. I was so tired that I fell asleep half way through. But it was a great day!
