Yesterday consisted of a lot of traveling! We woke up at 3:00am, showered, got ready, quickly packed up the car, grabbed Elliott out of bed and headed to the SLC airport (huge thanks to Morgan for driving us!). Elliott decided to wake up and not go back to sleep. Silly girl. Our flight left SLC at 6:00am. On the first leg of the trip Elliott was so tired. She cried the first 20 minutes or so until she completely exhausted herself and then passed out in my arms. Love that. We laid her on the seat between us and she slept for about 45 minutes. She doesn't nap very well when she isn't in her crib. The rest of that flight she did awesome. She just played and ate. We got to Houston and had a 3 hour layover until our next flight into Charlotte. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings in the airport, then walked around with Elliott in the stroller until she fell asleep. She slept about 30 minutes this time. Elliott did awesome on the second flight. She played and was happy pretty much the entire time. Thank goodness! We got into Charlotte just before 6pm. We picked up the rental car and headed to the cell phone lot to meet up with Josh's friend Baxter. Josh hopped in Baxter's car and headed to GA for the South Carolina vs. Georgia game that is today and Elliott and I drove to Columbia. We got to Josh's house around 8pm. Elliott slept the entire drive which was good because she got to stay up for a bit and play with the family. She was a little shy/tired at first, but she warmed right up...and peed on their floor. Just marking her territory, I suppose. Yikes.
Josh will be at the game today and then will head back to Columbia tonight! Then we have a week full of plans! More to come!
