Josh and I finished remodeling our bathroom right before Christmas and I am just now getting around to putting up pictures of the new bathroom. First, are pictures of the old bathroom. This is the bathroom in its original state when we moved in.
As you can see the walls were bright blue!
Here is our bathroom after we remodeled it when we first moved in.
We painted the bottom half of the room brown and the trim a sage green to match the shower curtain. I included a picture of the tile in the shower because in our more recent remodel our tub tile was redone! We decided to do away with the green trim and we replaced a lot of the old hardware for new things. We got new towel rings/holders, a new glass shelf above the sink, new switch plates, etc.
Here is our new tub! We love the new tile. Fortunately enough for us our landlord paid for the new tub. The tile was starting to fall apart and there was water damage on the wall behind the tile. The new tile is so much nicer looking! Don't you agree?
We also installed a new light fixture. The old light fixture was basically a big ugly bulb that looked like it belonged in the 70's. The new one is much more modern.
Our new towel ring and rack are brushed bronze to match everything else as well.
The old cabinet that is pictured above is still here but we spray painted it brown! I think it looks a lot better. You can also see here that we decided to paint the top half of the room cream. It was white before and I think the cream looks a lot neater.
A little accessory to the toilet.
And a close up of our new switch plates. (Also brushed bronze) You can also see in this picture that we the trim here is different than the trim before. We actually ripped the old trim out because it was so thick with yucky layers of paint. We bought new trim and painted it a light brown which is much easier on the eyes and blends the brown into the cream above!
We love our new bathroom. It doesn't seem like much but we feel like we did a good job with such a little space! It's fun doing things like this for our little house!

Great job guys. If you want, you can come and work on our house! Any takers? Actually, Mark replaced our downstairs bathroom faucet and light fixture. It looks great. I still need to take pictures, but I will soon, and of course it will then be on the blog. Isn't it fun to update things? A lot of work, but so much fun.
