Having a newborn made planning for Halloween a little difficult this year. Because of that, we went cheap and easy this year. Grand total: $3. Not bad.
I was a lightning bolt, Elliott was a rain cloud and Piper was a raindrop. Then Josh was a person struck by lightning. It turned out pretty cute.
For Halloween, Jacob and Valerie had a party at their new house. It was a great time. We each made a soup and brought them. So we had, a tortilla chicken soup, a tomato with tortellini soup and broccoli and cheese. They were all delicious! Then we had a bunch of yummy treats! Everything was so good. We took some photos, did donuts on a string and then we went trick-or-treating around Jacob and Valerie's neighborhood. The kids were so cute knocking on the doors and saying"trick-or-treat". So cute. Then we put the kids down for bed and played games. It was a lot of fun. Piper didn't really want to sleep which made the night a little stressful for me, but overall, it was still a great time. I love our friends. I'm dying thinking about Jenn and Morgan leaving next month. Seriously, I want to cry. So I just won't think about it. Let's look at cute pictures instead. :)
