Tuesday morning we hit the road for the beach. I was so excited to take Elliott to the beach! She hadn't been since she was 4 months old. Needless to say, she didn't get it. But this time was a blast. She loved running in and out of the water and playing in the sand. It took her a minute to get used the sand in her toes, but she quickly adapted. It also didn't take her long to realize that the waves could knock her down. I walked out with her and she immediately got taken out by a wave, followed by another. Of course she loved it, our little water baby, but she was a little more cautious after that. We packed lunches and spent the whole morning and some of the afternoon at the beach. I was so paranoid about putting sunblock on Elliott that I somehow forgot to put any on my legs. They are finally feeling better, but man they hurt! It was such a beautiful day at the beach. The weather was perfect. It wasn't too hot and there was a slight breeze. We spent a lot of time in the water! I loved it. Especially because when I was in the deep water I didn't feel pregnant. Such a crazy feeling.
A few hours after lunch we headed back home. It was such a beautiful day!
