First Mother's Day

Mother's Day morning, Elliott and I woke up and took some pictures to send to my mom and mother-in-law. What's cuter than a baby wishing you Happy Mother's Day? I'll answer that. Nothing.

As you can tell, it was harder than I anticipated. She just wanted to flap it around the whole time. But it was still cute.
Throwing it. Haha
Church was wonderful. Our new ward is amazing. We had a short 15 minute lesson and then we went into the gym and the bishopric fed us food! Muffins, bagels and cheesecake. Oh my. It was wonderful.

After church Josh took care of Elliott a bunch and let me relax. He cleaned the house and gave me beautiful flowers.
Elliott was such a sweetie all day.
Mommy and baby on Mother's Day.
Josh cooked dinner for us and everything. He made navajo tacos. I picked what I wanted. Here he is holding Elliott and cooking. So sexy. :)

My gift for Mother's Day is a gift in progress. Josh is turning our first four years of marriage (pre-baby) into a book. He has done a bunch of it and wants to work on it together. It's so sweet. He wrote the intro and I love it! I can't wait til we finish it and get it printed.

I had such an amazing first mother's day. We ended it watching a chick flick. Something we hardly ever do. I loved it.

Happy Mother's day to all the moms out there I know! Especially my own, amazing mother and mother-in-law! Love you all.
