Bike Rides

I have been wanting to get a bike for some time now. With Josh working all day Tue-Sat, I'm stuck at home without a car. And while I do enjoy a good walk, I don't have anywhere to store the stroller without having to lug it up all three flights of stairs. And walking gets kind of boring after a while...

So I finally bought a bike! I am so happy. Josh talked me into buying one a little nicer than the one I had intended on buying. And it was a great choice. I love it. We also bought an attachment for Elliott and a little baby helmet. She looks so cute in her seat with her giant helmet. Seriously, it makes her head look so big. 

We went for our first ride today. We went about 5 miles. Elliott fell asleep so we headed back. Her limp, leaning body made steering a little difficult. But it was so fun, and I can't wait to go out a ton this summer!

What a sweetheart. She was out cold. Her little head was flopping from side to side as I turned and she just stayed asleep. Must have been pretty soothing.
