Where Have We Been!?

I feel so out of the blogger world. I haven't blogged in weeks! It's really a disaster. But today is the perfect day for blogging and boy do I have a bunch to blog about.

Let's start with the biggest event of the summer and the main reason I lost touch a couple weeks back. As you probably know, my family came to visit! I only mentioned it a hundred times before it happened.

It was especially exciting because my sister (who lives on the other side of the country and who because of that I never get to see) came! It was so wonderful. My brother Joe, his wife and their kids are already here for the summer but my mom drove down from Washington and my sister and her kids flew in as well. My other brother, his wife and their kids weren't able to make it and that was definitely a bummer, but we still managed to have some fun! It would have been great to be ALL together, but things come up.

The week started with my mom. She arrived in town before everyone else. The day of arrival moved up a day every time I talked to her. I'm surprised she didn't end up at my house for 3 weeks! She rolled in a few days before my sister arrived. We spent the few days before that cleaning my house (since her arrival date was before I was expecting and because of my crazy work hours), cleaning the guest house (aka Morgan and Jenn's house who were so wonderful
in letting everyone stay there) and preparing for the fun week.

[sorry mom, i had to]

My sister visited from SLC with the kids and hubby on Tuesday but officially came on Wednesday. We had the most fabulous week! Our week included miniature golf, food, games, scrapbook shopping, food, talking, laughing, pictures, BYU, and the water park.

I think I'll just do the rest of the post in pictures. I think that often gives you a better idea than the words.

Sorry about the pictures being so jumbled. I have so much to catch up on, so they are just going to stay that way! :)

Long story short, our trip was fabulous. Everything about it was fun. I loved being together as a family, I loved seeing my mom and my sister, I loved spending time with my nieces and nephews, and I loved the much needed break from real life.
