On Saturday Josh had his first solo flight! He passed his first stage check (mentioned in previous posts) and so his instructor wanted him to solo fly asap. On Saturday I went to our new stake zumba (which was so fun) and then I went to the airport to watch Josh fly. He did amazing!

After landing on the phone with his parents. (His mom was a little worried about him. But I can't blame her, I was too!)
These planes don't have reverse so after he parks he just...turns it around :)
He did amazing on his first flight. He did three takeoffs and landings.
Morgan and I went and watched him solo today also. His instructor told us about a little dirt road that was a great place to go watch. I didn't have my camera because someone is borrowing it but I took this one with my phone.
He was flying right over our heads! It was amazing. I can't wait to go back and get some good ones with my camera. I'll also post video of one of his flights when I take it.
