Valentines Day...Finally!

Well, I think it's about time I posted about our Valentine's Day! I know, it's almost a month late. Yikes. Sorry about that. We've been pretty busy lately. We're dead in the middle of midterms right now but I just need a break, so I'm blogging! :)

Anyhow, our Valentine's Day was great! We actually decided to celebrate it on Friday instead of Saturday because Alyson and Alex were both going to be in town on Saturday and I wanted to hang out with them. Well, it being our first Valentine's Day I was all jumbled up about what to get Josh. Should I go all out, or just do something simple. Well he had been complaining about his back because he almost always has a sore back and so I went and got him an hour massage at a therapeutic place in town. I also got him some chocolate and a couple little things. Well, I had work that day, so he picked me up at noon with a pink rose. We headed home and made some plans for dinner at TGI-Fridays. (We had a coupon :)) Anyhow, we sat around and just hung out for most the day until night came. We went to dinner which was delicious and then Josh blindfolded me. He said he had a little surprise before we headed home. He drove around and around trying to throw me off but as soon as we took a step inside, I knew we were at the mall. Malls just have a specific echo to them. Lol. Well, even though I knew we were at the mall, I had no idea where we were going. Well, we walked around and he led me into Build-A-Bear. I had never made a bear there before so I was like a kid in a candy shop! It was a lot of fun. We picked out a couple of teddy bears and had them stuffed, fluffed and primped. We also clothed them. Josh's bear is named Jim and is wearing red boxers holding flowers. My bear is Pam and is wearing red Victoria's Secret underwear with red bows over each ear. They are adorable together. It was so much fun. We were in line behind some kids and we watched as they had their bears fluffed. They pick out a heart to go inside and then do a whole bunch of actions with the heart before putting it inside. So when we got up the the front of the line, Josh told the lady I wanted to do it. So I rubbed it between my hands so she would never be cold, I rubbed it on my tummy so she would never be hungry, I rubbed it on my head so she would be smart, I shook it up so she'd never be sick and gave it a big kiss so she would always feel love and then put the heart inside her. :) I made Josh do it too when it was his turn. Adorable.

Well, after the mall we came back to the apartment and he had set up a trail of flower petals all over the house and there was a big bouquet in the kitchen. We set up a tent in the living room because we had talked about going camping for Valentines Day but it was too cold, so we had a campout in the living room! Anyways, we sat in the tent and opened our gifts. He made me open mine first. He got me an hour massage! Haha. He also gave me some homemade coupons for a foot massage and for him to do some girly stuff with me. He got me a foot pack from Bed Bath & Beyond with foot scrubs and cute nail clippers. He also got me some bath salts. It was wonderful. A great pampering Valentines. So then when he opened his he realized why I laughed when I opened his. I guess we're going to go get our massages together! That worked out well! So we ate our chocolate and had a fun little campout in our living room! It was such a fun Valentine's Day! We really enjoyed ourselves!

Here are some pictures. I didn't take as many as I wish I would have. But here they are nontheless.

And...our adorable teddy bears!
