:) Enjoy
This is the very first one I made. It's a big mug, almost like a soup bowl. I used really thin masking tape to mark off the lines and then painted and pulled the tape off! I love it.
This is the second piece I made, or collection of pieces. This is a set of four coasters.
The next time we went was in Washington on a double date with John and Sara. This time I did a spoon thingy that goes on the stove...I'm not sure that they have an official name. But yes, that's what I did.
Next I did this set of 3 magnets. If you don't recognize them, they are icons from the iphone. Dorky, I know.
More recently, we went and I made this plate for our kitchen.
And when we went on Friday I made this gravy boat/syrup pitcher thing. This is probably going to be my favorite yet. We haven't picked it up yet. This is me painting it prior to being burned. :) Pretty cute, eh?
So that's it so far! Pretty impressive, I know. Haha.
How fun! Is it affordable? There is one near us, but I've just assumed it is overpriced. Am I wrong?
ReplyDeleteWell, it depends. Each piece is a different price ranging from $2-$45. Then there are studio fees which are $8 for adults and $5 for children under $12. My advice would be to go to Colormemine.com and find your city. Then from there go to their calendar of events and find a customer appreciation day or something when there are no studio fees or maybe 1/2 off. If you go on the right days, you can get a good deal. That's what we always do. All the places are different but for example, every Saturday night the Orem one does date night where studio fees are buy one get one free. And there is a customer appreciation day once a month. Anyways, check out their website and see what you find! It's really fun though and they have tons of cute things the kids would love to paint too! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute, I love the big mug cup.
