Sister Friend!

The week after Easter my sister and her kiddos came to visit for their spring break! It was such a great week.

They arrived Monday afternoon. We hit up the grocery store and just spent the evening hanging out and catching up.

Tuesday morning we headed to the zoo! Again with the zoo, haha. But seriously, we love it. I didn't think about the fact that it was spring break for a lot of the schools around here too, so the zoo was a little crazy. But, it looked a lot worse as we were leaving, so going in the morning was a good choice. It was beautiful and wonderful as always.

That afternoon, the girls had Dr. appointments. FINALLY. It took almost 8 months for our insurance to get approved when we moved here. Poor girls were so behind on their appointments. But they are all caught up now! Hooray. Then Tuesday evening, we ate dinner and had another relaxing evening.

Wednesday, we headed to Charleston! It was the best weather that day. so we decided to go. I love Charleston. It's such a beautiful city and it just never gets old to me. We parked near the Battery and brought packed lunches to eat at Riverfront Park. It was a bit windy down by the water, but it was beautiful. Then we walked towards the market. We walked all through the streets exploring and then hit up the market. I love that market. It's so fun. I bought a cool ornament which I'm excited to hang on our tree this year. After that we walked over to get some pralines. Oh my gosh. I want pralines so bad right now (did I mention I'm doing another Whole30? bahaha). Anyways, yum. We got pralines and lemonade and sat in the shade and relaxed for a bit to rest our tired feet. Then we headed to get some food! We decided to grab Jim and Nicks for dinner. It's a little BBQ place and we've had it twice now and loved it. Yum. After dinner we swung by Rainbow Row and snapped some pics before hitting the road back to Columbia. It was such a fun day!

On Thursday, Jamie and I asked her kids if they would babysit my kids so we could go shopping, just the two of us. I don't know if we've ever gone shopping, just us. It was a blast. We went to the big mall here and shopped. Even though we didn't find anything we were looking for, it was a great day! We shopped all over, grabbed a late lunch at Chick-fil-A, then headed home. The kids had a blast with Taylor and Spencer. That night we stayed up talking because they left the next morning.

We had such a fun week with them. Can't wait to see them again!

Pizza for dinner one night. And Taylor with Piper.
Rainbow Row!
My people. Love them.
