Out of the Mouth of Elliott #1

I was inspired by a friend (thanks Ashley!) to start documenting some of the funny things Elliott says on our blog. She talks non-stop these days and Josh and I find ourselves in constant laughing fits over the things she says. So I think it's time I start writing this all down! Here we go.

Out of the Mouth of Elliott #1

{Anytime she needs to go to the bathroom, take a bath or do anything else in her bathroom}
"You come in my bathroom?" Which sounds like, "You tum in my bafroom?" and means she wants you in there with her. She says it super fast which makes it even funnier.

{After Josh got home from work one day with a bag of parmesan chips from Kneaders}
E: "My chips?"
J: "No, they're my chips."
E: "My chips?"
J: "Nope."
E: . . . "Our chips?"
J: **laughter** "Sure, that deserves a chip."
Clever girl!

{Playing with a bunch of travel size bottles of shampoo and going in and out of the bathroom}
"Bye mom, I go work. I go work. I go work alllll the day."
She mixes all day long and all the time together to make "all the day". She uses that phrase probably a dozen times a day. She eats cookies all the day, plays toys all the day, reads books all the day, eats food all the day, etc.

{She has the Curious George book where he breaks his leg and has to go to the hospital}
"Mom, I broke my leg. Go Doctor." which sounds like, "Mom, I bwoke my yeg. Go Doctor." She is constantly pretending that she broke her leg or is hurt and needs to go to the hospital . . .

{While sick one day and having the shakes}
"I wiggling mom. My boots is wiggling."
Her whole body was shaking from her cold and fever. So sad, but she made it so cute.

To be continued . . .
