As a special gift, my sister made us this amazing Christmas countdown. For each day in December there is an activity to do as a family. I sat down and figured out which activities to do (there are more than 24) and what days we wanted to do them. We're already having a blast. My hope is to take pictures of all of them. We'll see how it goes.
On December 1st, we danced to Christmas music. Elliott is still really little, and won't remember any of this, but we're having fun! Josh and I picked a few of our favorite Christmas songs and danced with little Elliott. She looked adorable. She loves music!
On December 2nd, we made homemade Christmas tree ornaments. I wanted to do one for Elliott. We decided to try and do her footprint on a glass ball. It proved to be much harder than it sounds. I ended up tracing her foot, cutting it out, tracing it onto the ball and painting it in. Her little foot just wiggles way too much. But it turned out pretty cute. Her footprint is kind of fat and wide, so it wasn't as cute as some I've seen, but that's her foot, so...oh well!
I also made a ball covered in styrofoam balls. It says JOY on it.
Even though Elliott is so small, I look forward to future years when she will be so excited to do this! Thanks Jamie!!

I love this idea! It looks so fun!
