The first week of my student teaching is officially over. I can't say that I did any teaching but I did get to meet 30 adorable children! I will be teaching a few lessons this week and even more the next as I prepare to take over the classroom for a few weeks. I'm getting excited but I'm also really nervous. It's been a long time since I've been with children this young and I feel out of the loop on how to best teach them. I feel like all my plans so far will be too difficult. I'll let you know how they go.
During the week I only took 2 naps. I'm pretty proud. One was 35 minutes...and the other was 3 hours and 35 minutes...whoops. What can I say? Children are tiring!
