Desiree's Bridal Shower

So, my dear friend Desiree is getting married in April and since I probably won't be able to make it to her reception in Tri-Cities, I'm throwing her a bridal shower for her here in Provo. I'm really excited about it. Alyson is going to come down from Rexburg to help as well. Anyways, the planning is coming along quite nicely. I have made some of the invitations which I will send out early this week. I'm really happy with how they turned out! I'm still working on the wording for the inside. I haven't figured out exactly what to say. As you can see, the fronts of the cards have birds and so I was trying to incorporate "love birds" into the words, but I'm having problems.

When Justin asked Desiree to marry him, Desiree replied by kissing him. After he told her it wasn't a proper answer, she said yes.
So far for the wording I have,

"The question was popped,
The answer a kiss,
Something, something
something bliss."

Haha. As you can see, it still needs some work, and it still doesn't say love birds! If you have any suggestions for wording I would really appreciate it!

Alyson and I are still figuring out what games we want to play, if you have any games that you've played at a bridal shower that you loved, let me know!

We do have the food planned. So that's something, right?

We're doing turkey wraps!

Little ones, just like these. Don't those look delicious!
We will also have lots of fresh fruit!

As you can tell, I'm excited. I'm also really looking for fun suggestions! If you have any fun ideas, please share!!
I'll post more of the progress as it comes.

  4. one of my favorite games is the one with the bubblelicious. i'm sure you've done it or been to someone's shower who had it, but you ask her fiancee questions about himself and then ask her and if she doesn't get them right, she's got to stick a thing of gum in her mouth. even just getting two wrong is a mess... we had some really random questions at mine, like "boxers or briefs?" of which was super weird, cuz i had no idea lol but it's always really fun to watch! =)
