Unfortunately, we had great intention to take pictures last Tuesday for my birthday but managed to forget it completely. But my birthday was still great nonetheless. We woke up around 6:00 and Josh made me breakfast. We had eggs with biscuits and gravy. I had never had them before because they are generally more of a southern food but I must admit I quite enjoyed them. I had my preschool class from 7:45-10:45 that morning but Josh came and observed for the last 30 minutes and then came in with some daisies and sat with us as we debriefed after class. Josh and I left campus and went to Carl's Jr for lunch. I got a famous star with guacamole (one of my current obsessions). Josh took me back to class and headed to work until I got out at 3. We came home and the apartment was decorated with streamers and our bedroom was filled with balloons. 73 to be exact. Don't think Josh blew them up himself, because he didn't. He used an air compressor, fortunately. He told me my present was in one of the balloons. Inside the 3rd to last balloon I popped (I'm still having hearing problems) I found a piece of paper that reads, "DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL and Panic! at the Disco." On Oct. 16th we're going to SLC to see Dashboard (my favorite band)!! Then we went to the mall and got a sweater and a couple shirts. After shopping we headed to Olive Garden. Oh man it was good. I don't think I've ever left there without leftovers. But I managed to this time. I had a breadstick, two plates of salad and the four cheese ziti al forno. Oh man, I cleaned that plate. It was so fantastic. Then we went to the redbox and I picked out Maid of Honor. It wasn't the best movie I've seen recently but I was in the mood for a chick flick. Overall, it was a fantastic birthday! Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!
Miss you all!
